Eccea's programme for community based nature and heritage tourism was launched in 1997. It offers an entirely different experience where human beings can relate to heir natural surroundings, choosing to visit one, two, six islands or more , according to the length of their stay and their special interests. They can travel either simply or in luxury, by boat, jet or light aircraft, by either foot or jeep. Visit volcanoes or submarine cliff, coral reefs and mangroves, walk the trails of tropical rain forests, contemplate the needless rivers and waterfalls or quietly watch the whales, dolphins, turtles, birds and butterflies that abound in these unique island settings. The realm they share is that of a living earth.
